Red Teapot

I did this painting outdoors during the same weekend of the last post (Wild Garlic). I really like doing still lifes outdoors because they look so fresh and light compared to studio paintings which have a tendency to look somewhat darker and dramatic. So, it just depends on what you want to achieve. The wild flowers in the pot were picked while I was there - this is one of my favorite paintings.

I love the bright colors! I just wanted to leave you some feedback from artist to artist. I am a 33 year old artist from rural Missouri. What a struggle it is to get recognized. Congrats to you on all your sales and awards!!! Beautiful!! Btw, I am also a virgo and NOT an abstract artist!! haha
