When I first saw these plums at the grocery store, I just had to buy some to paint. I really had a problem with the one in the foreground - it was so much more yellow than the others - I finally just ate it and replaced it with one of the other ones! This painting won "Best of Show" in the New Braunfels "Art for the Holidays" show in December.
