This painting is from a photo I took while at the Bear Dog Ranch in Medina, Texas. I do very little plein aire but couldn't resist going to this ranch. I did 2 quick studies while there and took several photos. It will be in the New Braunfels "Texas" show for the month of July.

This is a "stop you in your tracks" landscape of Texas. I love the soft colors.
